PPC Search Engine Advertising: Strategies for Online Success
Most companies have their annual plans developed for PPC search engine advertising before the current year has completed its cycle. This makes it difficult as you don’t have the full set of data for the current quarter to help with planning for the same quarter of the following year. Most companies will have specific budget allocations and specific goals to be achieved within that budget. Once a budget is established, it cannot be changed throughout the year if marketplace dynamics change, if competition increases within various terms, if competitive demand drives up PPC costs, or if conversion rates change.

Social Media and the Money
With the movie Social Media slated to be released this October, questions of social media platforms as moneymaking businesses began to form in my mind. The most prominent of which was, how exactly do these free services make money.
The most obvious answer to the questions is advertising. If you are on Facebook or have been to YouTube, you are aware that both sites sale ad space and have been doing so for quite some time. With both having huge audiences, advertisers can have plenty of eyes on their product. In addition to advertising, YouTube offers movie rentals and Facebook has premium content for some of the games that are featured on the site.
